Warranty
What is the Warranty period?
Orders placed after May 2023:
- Oil and Gas Aga Cookers - 5 Year 'Parts Only' Warranty from the point of delivery, subject to the below terms.
- Electric Aga Cookers (13amp, ElectricKit and eControl) - 5 Year 'Parts Only' Warranty and 1 Year Labour Warranty, subject to the below terms.
- Electric Conversions for existing Aga Cookers - 5 Year 'Parts Only' Warranty and 1 Year Labour Warranty, subject to the below terms.
- Esse and Everhot cookers - 2 Year Parts and Labour Warranty (covered by their manufacturers - details on their respective websites below).
- Everhot Cookers also have a 5 Year Parts Warranty covering their electric elements.
Third Party Warranties
- Your eControl (Electric) System Parts Warranty is covered in whole, by the manufacturer - UK Innovation Group.
- Your ESSE Cooker Warranty is covered in whole by the manufacturer - ESSE
- Your Everhot Cooker Warranty is covered in whole by the manufacturer - Everhot
- Your Oil or Gas Aga Cooker installer would usually provide a 'workmanship' labour warranty with their installation work, but you should confirm directly with them for clarity.
Important Notes:
- If you have an issue, we'll help you to troubleshoot remotely, with potential fixes for you to implement, if possible.
- Your warranty period will begin once we have supplied the goods.
- Your warranty can't be transferred.
- We don't have an emergency call out team, but we will book in your revisit as soon as our diary allows.
- We have a zero-tolerance approach towards abuse to our staff.
What are the warranty terms?
- Any visits to site whilst outside of your labour warranty period will be subjected to a callout charge, which is to be settled before we arrive to site.
- For our own Aga Cooker installations and conversions, labour charges within the first 12 months of delivery are covered by us - subject to terms below.
- Your cooker must not have been altered or modified by any third party.
- You should have a service record for correct routine service maintenance.
- Appliances must have been serviced in line with the manufacturer's requirements and frequency, by a qualified professional engineer.
- For labour warranties, your installation must be in mainland Scotland (a labour charge will apply further afield if required).
- If within the first 12 months, the engineer visits and finds the fault can be attributed to misuse or a third party modification, a charge will apply and will need to be settled before any future visits or support can be offered.
What isn't covered by the warranty?
- Accidental or cosmetic damage
- Including but not limited to: Damage to enamel or chrome parts, scratches or damage to hob or induction glass.
- Misuse includes any actions against our user instructions
- Including but not limited to: ElectricKit or eControl hotplate elements or thermostat repairs due to overheating.
- ElectricKit Hotplates should not be left above simmering temperatures when the lids are closed.
- eControl Hotplates should only be left on ECO mode (or turned off) when the lids are closed.
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Including frequent servicing, routine adjustments for doors or lids.
- Any issues with Oil and Gas Aga cookers which can be attributed to your oil quality, flue installation, weather, oil filters, carbonisation of burners etc.
- Flues, Fuel lines and Electrical supplies serving the appliance.
- Including external timers fitted to electric supplies.
- Consumable Parts
- Including oil wicks, thermostats, thermocouples, lid/door liners, lid domes, washers, seals.
- ElectricKit Induction hobs are covered by a manufacturer's 12 month warranty.
- New Fans are covered by a 12 month parts warranty
- No warranty cover on existing fan installations.
- AGA Modules are covered by a 12 month parts warranty only.
- Any consequential loss.
