Why Choose an Everhot Cooker?

Designed and Built in Britain

The Everhot showroom is still based at Coaley Mill - a historic 13th century water powered mill, which the Everhot was designed to run from.

Located a few miles down the road, the Everhot factory is still churning out cookers to meet the increasing demand.

With the original inventors son at the helm, Everhot has continued to grow and innovate, but kept the small warm feel of a small British business.

Extremely Efficient

Known throughout the industry for its extremely low running costs, the Everhot is a testament to innovative engineering.

Even with its 'always on' operation, you can run an Everhot Cooker for around £3 per day (including 'leave on' hotplates!).

The Trickle Charge tech means that the cooker will never pull more than 3kW of energy at one time, making it perfect for using alongside solar or wind power.

PERFECT For Solar Power

The newly updated Everhot control panel (and mobile app!) has lots of options to help owners maximise efficiency, especially for owners with their own solar or wind power.

You can set your Everhot to work alongside your personal electric tariff or your solar array - pulling charge when energy is cheap or abundant, and reducing consumption when prices are higher or energy sparse. You can also set it to automatically adjust the ECO settings to coincide with sunrise and sunset for your specific location and time of year.

You can set 'Sacred Hours' to make sure your Everhot is always up to temperature by a certain time each day - no matter what your solar or tariff is doing!

Welcoming Warmth

The Everhot Cookers were designed to be always on - or (for)ever hot!

The heat emitted from the ovens, the thick steel frame and the cast iron parts gently radiates into the room for the traditional "cast iron range" feel.

In the summer, you can choose to reduce the temperature in each zone or use the cooker flexibly to emit less heat into the room.

Traditional Aga Cookers kick out around 1kW of heat into the room. An Everhot will likely radiate around 0.6kW into the room.

(figures are obviously dependent on room size, insulation, set oven temperatures etc).

Huge Ovens

The top oven on most Everhot models is a massive 56L in capacity. This deep design is perfect when entertaining or cooking large meals, and cooker your food with lovely gentle radiant heat.

The oven elements are located in the base of the ovens, which have a stainless steel floor.
This helps heat distribution, but also prevents against surface rust that heat-storage cookers are usually vulnerable to.

Integrated Grill

Every top oven on an Everhot has a high-power 2.5kW integrated grill inside.

This can be operated separately from the oven controls, to quickly brown dishes. The 'boost' option uses the grill to quickly raise the top oven temperature to roasting in around 20 minutes.

Sustainable and Eco-Conscious

Everhot are at the forefront when it comes to sustainable range cookers. With their cookers running perfectly when paired with solar, wind or water power, the company also has a focus on eco-restoration too.

Since 2012, Everhot have planted more than 50,000 native trees in the local area of their factory. Not only does this offset the carbon emissions produced at the factory, it also helps to rewild the area.

Everhot are Gold Corporate Partners with the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.

Here's a compilation of the most frequently asked questions about Everhot Cookers:

  • How Much Does an Everhot Cost to Run?

Everhot cookers are famous for their efficiency when compared to other models of heat storage cookers (like Aga Cookers!).

Most customers find their running costs to sit between £20 and £25 per week for the most popular models - that's using the factory settings of 'on all day' then 'slumber all night'.

The larger models will usually cost between £25 and £40 per week on the same settings.

  • Are Everhot Cookers More Expensive than an Aga Cooker?

Surprisingly, you'll find the prices of an Everhot Cooker quite competitive when compared to brand new Aga Cookers, and considering their advantages when it comes to efficiency.

In 2023, the Advertising Standards Authority compared the AGA eR7 with the comparable Everhot 110i. Their findings showed that the Everhot used considerably less electricity when left normal temperatures 24/7 (approx 116kW compared to AGAs 252kW).

Initial costs are less, with an AGA eR7 costing approximately £17,700 and the Everhot 110i £

  • What Power Requirements do Everhot Cookers need?

The Everhot range are all supplied with standard UK plugs.

Most of the + models will run from one plug, whereas the induction models usually have two plugs.

This can be an advantage over other traditional range cookers like our Aga Cookers, which many require a 32amp or 40amp electric feed.

The delivery team will delivery and plug your cooker into the sockets before giving you a quick walkthrough of the cooker.

  • How Are Everhot Cookers Installed?

Our Everhot Cookers are hand-built at the factory in Gloucestershire, and delivered to you in one piece.

The team are experts in delivery and can navigate almost any obstacle! For any 'harder to reach' sites, certain models are available in a split section design (to be joined together onsite), or even delivered in parts and assembled onsite.

There are no flue requirements to worry about either - your Everhot is 'room vented' which provides you with even more ambient heat into the space.

  • Do Everhot Cookers Heat the Room?

There are lots of steps to bringing an Aga Range Cooker back to life.

Firstly, we assess the cooker to identify any issues or non-standard replacements needed. The cast iron ovens are shotblased to remove heavy soiling of past use.

The enamel parts are shotblased to remove the old enamel, then they are manually coated in new Vitreous Enamel (in a colour of your choice). This is carried out by industry professionals and quality checked before release.

Any chrome parts are replaced with new, to ensure a showroom-standard finish.

  • Do Everhot Cookers cook the same as my Aga Cooker?

We're proud to have been one of the first aga cooker refurbishers to be transparent on pricing. We do cover a large area and every site is different, which means quotes can be bespoke, but the below gives you an idea of costings.

As a guide, you should expect the below:

    - Base price of the cooker (listed on our website).

    - Delivery & Install (postcode dependent, starting from around £550 for aga/esse and £300 for everhot).

    - Plinth (for aga cookers, starting from £200).

    - Any site preperations like flue works, oil/gas supply or electric works aren't part of our remit, so your chosen trades will be able to provide quotes for them.

  • Are Everhot Cookers Reliable?

Yes! We'd highly recommend visiting in person to see (and more importantly) feel the build quality.

We'd even go as far as saying the build quality of Everhot Cookers is the highest out of all our range cooker offerings!

They are assembled using high-quality parts, thick cast iron and metal panels, and durable powder-coated finishes.

You'll also have a full 5-year parts warranty for the heating elements - direct from the manufacturer.
