How Does It Work?
The ElectricKit Conversion uses multiple electric elements to allow individual temperature flexibility, and on/off control - previously unheard of with traditional aga cookers.
Traditional aga cookers have one heat source (a single burner behind the control door, for example). This slowly heats the whole cooker until it reaches optimum operating temperature. The main consideration to this, is heat loss and slow recovery.
The ElectricKit System is much more responsive due to the multiple elements strategically placed around the Aga Cooker. Your top oven can reach cooking temperature from cold in 50 minutes, compared to the 7 hours of traditional single-burner models and you have FULL temperature control.
There's no other system which gives you this level of control and flexibility with your Aga Cooker - even the brand new Aga Cooker models!

ElectricKit Running Costs
One of the main reasons our clients choose an ElectricKit-Converted Aga Cooker is running costs. The ability to turn separate ovens and hotplates on/off, gives you the ability to massively control your running costs.
You can choose to run your aga flexibly for less than £1 per day, or leave the ovens on constantly for convenience, with slumber temperatures running at approximately £10 per week.
In our experience, most owners choose to keep the ElectricKit System ticking over at a lower temperature, then boosting it if needed. The induction hotplate upgrade is hugely popular too, as it's the most efficient hotplate when it comes to running costs.

The ElectricKit 'Classic' edition has simple thermostats and elements, which minimises the risks of component failures. The ElectricKit Advanced has an industrial-grade PLC board inside - the same type found intense assembly line factories, where reliability and efficiency is key.
ElectricKit Radiant Heat Hob
An expanding 2-zone halogen hob upgrade with controls built into the touchscreen panel of the ElectricKit Advanced.
This can replace either the left or the right hotplate (or both!) and gives you instant access to hotplate cooking. Incredibly powerful and perfect for those who prefer halogen hob cooking, but without the heat up times of the standard solid ElectricKit hotplates.
The hotplate has 24 settings for maximum control and if it is accidentally left at anything above setting 16, it will automatically turn down to setting 12 after an hour. This is another safety failsafe of the ElectricKit to prevent possible repairs.
ElectricKit Induction Hob
Choose to upgrade your ElectricKit Conversion with an integrated induction hob, replacing the standard left-hand boiling hotplate.
ElectricKit induction hobs are available in either 1.6kW or an even more powerful 3kW unit. The 1.6kW induction is recommended, as it utilises the existing connections inside the cooker, rather than requiring additional plug sockets nearby.
Neatly concealed underneath the left hand insulating dome, the induction hob gives you instant modern technology, inside your refurbished aga range cooker.
The controls are located directly on the hob surface, so there's no need to open control doors or bend down to adjust the temperature.
'High Temp' ElectricKit Hotcupboard
The "hotcupboard" is the left hand section of our 4 Oven and 5 Oven Aga Cookers.
With the ElectricKit Advanced System, you can upgrade this unit to allow even more flexibility:
- Ability to have temperatures up to 250c in the top left oven, rather than the traditional limit of 120c.
- Controllable on/off warming plate. Instead of heating your whole hotcupboard to use the warming plate, you can turn it on and off when required.
- Upgrade your warming plate to an independent 2-zone halogen hob.
- Lots of ambient heat into the room when required.
ElectricKit Timer Function
Your ElectricKit Advanced System comes with an integrated timer function to schedule your Aga Cooker ovens on/off or adjust temperatures remotely via a mobile app.
A basic version is also available as an optional extra for the older ElectricKit 'Classic' Systems.
Do you have an AirBnb or a Holiday Home? Remotely switch your Aga Cooker on before you arrive, or adjust the temperatures remotely.
Looking to run your cooker more efficiently? Automatically schedule your Aga cooker to turn on and off at certain times, and at different temperatures, using the scheduling function.
Just like the popular Everhot Range Cookers, you can schedule automatic 'Slumber' or 'ECO' modes in-between cooking periods to reduce the heat and your running costs.
ElectricKit Remote Screen
To make adjusting the temperatures of your Aga Cooker easier, the ElectricKit Advanced has the option of a remote screen.
This is supplied with a worktop mount as standard, or alternatively, you can mount it onto the wall using a single pattress box.
The screen allows all the same functionality of the standard screen that is usually located behind the normal Aga control door.
ElectricKit Community
With over a decade of conversions across the country, the ElectricKit system has a large community of users consisting of new owners of refurbished aga cookers and veteran Aga Cooker owners who have converted from traditional models.
Some of these users have joined a Facebook group called 'ElectricKit Agas' with 2k members, all providing support, advice and experience.

Our cookers are all refurbished to order, using our high standard process and retro-fitted with the ElectricKit system.
Every cooker is enamelled per order in your chosen colour.
Installation is postcode dependent (starting from £600).
