Rather than the standard 'one-heat-source' setup inside the Aga Cooker, our ElectricKit Aga Cookers use one individual oven elements for direct heat, and two independent elements below the hotplates. This drastically reduces running costs vs traditional 'always on' models and gives you a professionally restored, high quality and controllable Aga Cooker, for thousands of pounds less than a brand new model.

Integrated elements inside the hotplates on top, give you control over each plate, with dials numbered 1-8. You can choose to turn them off during warmer months or when they're not in use to reduce your running costs. During colder spells, you can leave them on half heat 24/7, or turn them up and down for cooking. You can upgrade one of your hotplates to an induction hob for instant heat and even lower running costs.

An additional socket will be required for our larger induction hob, or the warming plate hob upgrade.

A 40amp supply will be required for any kits with the ElectricKit HotCupboard Upgrade.

The electrical switches cannot be behind the Aga cooker, and must be within 1m of the appliance.

Our ElectricKit Aga Cookers can either be built up onsite by our trained engineers (this is the standard approach), or build inside our workshop and delivered to site in one piece. The cooker is then manipulated into place and connected to the power supply.

The ElectricKit manufacturers lauched some variations on the original electrickit in 2023 (the first major update in 10 years!).

Each system has its own advantages and disadvantages, so, in our usual style, we're creating pages for each kit on our website, dedicated to helping you to decide which Electric system is perfect for you. The 'Advanced Edition' details and testing need to be completed, with a release date of 2024.
