Their 'always on' design leads to excess heat 'leaking' from the ovens and hotplates, which in turn radiates lots of warmth into your room.

Always On Design.

Our 13amp Electric Aga models are all designed to run 24/7, with limited controllability. Using a single heat source, the cooker will heat in around 7hrs from cold. Once the cooker is up to temperature, you'll have set temperatures in each oven and hotplate, with a thermostat regulating the flow of fuel into the cooker.

Traditional Aga Cooking.

As classic as you can get with an Aga Cooker. Based on the original solid fuel design, the single heat source saturates the ovens and hotplates with heat. If your hotplates are used, the heat inside the ovens will drop and vice versa. This is why cooking on a traditional Aga is sometimes known as an art form!

The Original Electric Aga Cooker

AGA Rangemaster introduced the original 13amp electric model back in 2004. It was revolutionary. A flue-less design and the ability to be placed anywhere in the kitchen, opened up the choice of a 'traditional' aga cooker to many more owners across the UK.

A 'Low Maintenance' System

Our 13amp models have a simple 'low maintenance' system, with no annual servicing requirements. This system has zero computer boards inside, and utilises a robust thermostat configuration to make this model much more resilient when compared to the notorious '13amp AIMS' systems. The more tech-heavy 'AIMS' models commonly require expensive replacement computer boards due to the high heat exposure of the Aga control panel.

The 'always on' electric aga cooker is a traditional 'set and forget' model. Once you have found your optimum operating temperature, you can close the control door and forget about adjusting to cook. It's designed to be always on and up to temperature!

That being said, if you do want to turn it off, it's one simple numbered dial and you will have no issues relighting, unlike the gas and oil models which can be very temperamental if turned off.

The system is designed to be on 24/7, constantly radiating warmth. This is particularly helpful in older properties prone to damp or those who are looking to utilise excess solar as well as moving away from fossil fuel models.

When running at optimum temperature, you'll have one boiling hotplate and one simmering hotplate - both made of solid cast iron.

The top right hand oven is always your Roasting Oven, and depending on the model, your bottom oven will be a Simmering oven or Baking oven.
