Traditional Aga Cookers, Upgraded.

EFFICIENT ELECTRIC CONVERSIONS.

Upgrade your Aga Cooker with flexibility and efficiency to match the brand new electric models, for a fraction of the price.

We've been leaders in the Electric Aga Conversion market for years. The move away from fossil fuels and towards electric aga cookers is bigger than ever and it's only getting busier!

You keep the iconic cast iron ovens your aga cooker is known for, but gain controllability and remove the hassle of your ovens loosing temperature when your hotplates are used and vice/versa.

Lower Running Costs

Our Controllable Electric Conversions give you the flexibility to control your running costs.

The eControl system can be used for as little as £5 per week, and with all our controllable conversions, you have the option to upgrade your hotplates to induction or ceramic electric for efficiency and instant access to cooking.

Normally, the standard solid hotplates are the most expensive part of the cooker to run. These can be controlled and switched off when not in use - which can easily save up to 50% on your total running costs.

The ElectricKit Advanced system has an integrated 'slumber' (or 'rest') mode, which can automatically drop the temperature of the cooker to a chosen temperature, on a set schedule. This is perfect for reducing running costs by turning your cooker to 'rest mode' overnight or when the cooker isn't in use.

You also have the options of remote scheduling via an app on your phone, or leave the cooker running 24/7 in the cooler months for gentle ambient heat into the room.

Reduced Carbon Footprint

Traditional Aga Cookers can consume as much as 50 litres  of oil, 425kW  of gas or 225kW of electric every single week. Our controllable conversions can be used daily for as little as 17kW of electric per week.

A 4-oven oil model emits nearly 10 Tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year. A Natural Gas model is around half that at just over 5000kg, and the older 'always on' electric models at around 2000kg. Our controllable electric systems (used all day in winter, flexibly in summer) comes in at just over 600kg annually.

  • Reduce your carbon emissions by up to 93% by converting to controllable electric.
  • Performance is unaffected by windy weather.
  • No lost heat out of the flue system - keep your heat inside the kitchen!
  • No cheaper way to run your Aga cooker.
  • Reduce your running costs and ambient heat by turning ovens/hotplates off when not required.
  • 5-Year Warranty for peace of mind.

Flexibility

Tired of your oven temperature dropping when the hotplates are used? Not any more! Once converted, your hotplates will have individual electric elements inside, which are independent from the ovens.

Your boiling (left-hand) plate, can be upgraded to an induction hob for instant cooking and even more efficiency. The solid hotplates can reach a staggering 370c, which is much hotter than a Traditional Aga Cooker boiling plate (315c).

On most models, you can control the temperature of each oven, giving you complete flexibility, with many users opting to use the top oven for day-to-day cooking and adjusting as and when needed - perfect for reducing the overall running costs of the cooker!

No Servicing Requirements

These systems are designed and tested to be as efficient and reliable as possible. There's no servicing requirements, as they use simple technology like thermocouples and relays with no combustion gases or naked flames.

The average service of a traditional aga cooker cost around £180 (although we've seen some charge MUCH higher than that), with oil models requiring two services per year. That's £360 per year saved, as well as the chimney sweeps and possible repairs between visits!.

Control The Warmth

Although the electric conversions emit less heat into the room vs the older traditional models (they're VERY well insulated after conversion!), you can control how much heat is radiated from the cooker.

If it's a particularly hot day, switch off your ovens and turn them on when you need to cook. With heat up times as fast as 40 minutes, the long 7hrs+ heat up times of oil/gas models are long gone!

Feeling chilly? Leave an extra oven on, or turn your solid hotplates to simmering to gently radiate heat into the room.
