ESSE Cooker Running Costs:
Every ESSE Cooker has patented oven heating processes. The electric models have large elements which wrap around each oven, to give perfectly even cooking, and incredibly fast heat up times.
Designed to operate from a low 'slumber' temperature and turned up for use, your ESSE cooker will radiate gentle warmth into your space, without the higher running costs of other brands. In the cooler months, you can choose to increase this 'slumber' temperature to suit your needs. Need more heat into the room? Simply increase your oven temperatures. Need less heat in the summer? Just turn the ovens to 'minimum', for the lowest running costs and ambient heat. The ESSE ranges are powered by either one, two or three standard UK plug sockets (depending on your chosen size and configuration).
All ESSE Cookers have 'Power Share' technology inside, which is why their heat up times are much quicker than the other models we supply. For example, the ESSE top oven can reach roasting temperatures in approximately 15 minutes. Our Aga Cookers (with the ElectricKit conversion inside) take around an hour to reach the same temperature, and Everhot models will reach roasting temperature in around 2.5hrs from cold.
When left on slumber all day (24/7) the ESSE Range Cooker will cost approximately £8 per week. When the ovens and hotplate are being used at full temperature, it will cost around 0.70p per hour.
