The 2 Oven Aga Cooker
Two large cast-iron ovens, using traditional radiant heat cooking techniques, with two large hotplates, hidden under the iconic chrome lid domes. These models were originally made in British foundries and are sadly no longer produced, Our refurbished models are hugely popular for those looking for a traditional Aga Cooker, with the classic look.
What is the 2 Oven Aga Cooker?
The 2 Oven Aga is arguably the most iconic model.
Two large cast iron ovens, with pre-set Roasting/Simmering temperatures on our fossil fuel models, or both equally controllable in any temperature up to Roasting on our ElectricKit Conversion models.
Two domed lids cover the traditional hotplates. On our fossil fuel models, one is for boiling and one is for simmering.
With the ElectricKit Conversion, both hotplates are capable of temperatures up to boiling or can be upgraded to induction or ceramic for a more modern cooking experience.
2 Oven Aga Cooker Dimensions
Our Reconditioned 2 Oven Aga Cookers have the dimensions below:
W; 987mm (plus a 3-5mm air gap each side)
D: 679mm (plus a 10-15mm air gap behind)
H: 851mm (plus any chosen plinth height for under the Aga).

2 Oven Aga Cooker Fuel Types
Our Reconditioned 2 Oven Aga models are available in Electric, Oil or Gas.
The Electric models are by far the most popular nowadays, due to the ease of install with no flue requirements, no dangerous combustion fumes and no annual servicing commitments.
Our Electric Aga Cookers are available with the traditional 'Always On' system, which is the most similar to the older oil and gas burners, or the newer controllable ElectricKit conversions.
The ElectricKit system transforms the cooker into a flexible model, with the ability to see and control individual oven/hotplate temperatures, control your running costs and the ambient heat into the room when needed.
2 Oven Aga Running Costs
Our Reconditioned 2 Oven Aga Cookers are re-insulated with modern materials to improve efficiency vs the original vermiculite and rock-wool insulation.
ElectricKit: Approx £6 per week when used flexibly. £20 per week with ovens running 24/7.
Always on Electric: Approx £58 per week.
Oil: Approx £45 per week (plus servicing every 6-month minimum).
Gas: Approx £32 per week (plus servicing every year minimum).
How Much Do 2 Oven Aga Cookers Cost?
Our Refurbished Aga Cookers are all classic British-Made models, designed to be delivery in parts and assembled on site by trained engineers.
Delivery/Installation is postcode dependent and charged separately.
